THE
PREMISE.
The competition for painting, sculpture graphic and architecture for the
academic year current is announced. The award booked a n. 1/234602 of
the Presidency of the Secretary’s Board in 1978, 8th July. The rules
are as follows:
Art.
1) Participation
is open to alls .
Art.
2) Foreign
participants are admitted up to a limit of five participants per nation,
on condition that they are indicated by the cultural attaché of their
country’s Embassy to
Italy
, or by a renowned
art gallery.
Art.
3)
Entrants must submit three photographs, 10x15 cm in size, of different
works, accompanied by a duly signed copy of the enclosed form. The
original works must be between 50 to 75 cm in size.
The
sculptures must have at least 50 a not inferior side to cm. and a not
advanced weight to Kg. 10 (ten)
Letters and forms
must be sent by registered mail to
A.I.A.M. - Via Giulio Sacchetti, 10 - 00167 Rome, Italy; the limit
date for reception is March 30/2010
Photographs will not be returned.
Article
4) All
artists admitted to the contest must submit
the work of their choice no later than 15 days after being
notified of admittance.
Paintings and
graphic works must be sent without glass, though a protective framing is
allowed for paintings and a plastic sheet for graphic works.

5) The
winner in each category (painting, sculpture,
graphic,
architecture) will be awarded the Medusa Aurea trophy,
an original
bronze work
by the
sculptor Nunzio
Bibbò.
The second place
will be assigned to two artists ex aequo and rewarded with a silver
medal (43 mm in diameter) depicting the Medusa Aurea trophy.
The third place will
be assigned to three artists ex aequo and rewarded with a bronze medal
as described above.
All artists admitted
to the contest will receive a diploma stating their participation in the
Medusa Aurea prize.

6) Prizes
not claimed will be sent to winners by registered parcel, on which
service expenses will be due.

7) All
works admitted to the final phase will be exhibited in a place of
suitable renown for six days preceding the last Sunday in 31 May, the
closing day of the prize.

8) All
entrants who require publication of their work (6x9 cm in black &
white or colour) must send an international money order for
€ 65,00 (b/w) or (colour)
€ 85,00 made payable to A.I.A.M., address as stated under 3).

9) All
works not claimed 60 days after proclamation of the winners will be
added to the A.I.A.M. collection.

10) All
travel and lodging expenses for artists invited to Rome for the awards
will be at their charge.
Art.
11 The - final ceremony of the manifestation will have place in Rome,
contextually to the proclamation of the winners of the Prizes of the
Culture, 30 SUNDAY MAY 2010 the artists admitted to the final
selection will be is perceived. The Direction reserves the faculty to
bring variations to the terms of which before. The contenders are invite
to you to attend to the prize distribution ceremony, being remained all
expenses just loaded.

12- The works of the contenders classifies you to the 1°-2°-3° -
place the “Notiziario of the A.I.A.M” will be published in a
successive number de "ACADEMY." to cure and expenses of the
direction of the competition.

13-The works are assured for all the risks (theft, fire, damaging) with
a insurance society of primary importance for a period that is available
limitedly to the days of exposure of the works, for the following values:
graphic. € 250,00 - painted. €, 500,00 sculptures. €. 1.000,00.
The travel of round-trip are excluded from the assurance.

14- Exausted the manifestation the works will have to be withdrawn. If
you want the work within. will be sent in carriage forward. The works
not withdrawn 60 days from the date of the proclamation of the winners,
will agree donated to the Academy and therefore they could not more be
protested (v.art.11).

15. - The subscription of the card of adhesion to the competition
involves the acquaintance of the present regulations and the integral
acceptance of it.

to the art. 4: Published
The finalists who wish the publication of the work admitted to the
selection of the Trophy "Gold Jellyfish" in the periodic
ACADEMY “the Notiziario of the A.I.A.M." they will have to carry
out the deposit of the indicated amount under the 20 April
2010 to average postal money order them intestate to: A.I.A.M. Via Giulio Sacchetti n° 10-
00167 - Rome or also to average deposit on c.c.p. n°11521002 - A.I.A.M.
Rome ed to send photocopy of the receipt within the 30/04/09. The cost
of the publication is of.€. 65,00 for black and white reproduction of.
€. 85,00 for reproduction to colours, in format of cm. 6x9 beyond the
sub. title.
For the reproduction to colours to send one photography postcard, or one
slide. The classified result will be publishes to you 7

Note
to art. 6- the awardees of the trophy will be able to donate the work to the
patrimony of the A.I.A.M. that issues motivated
certification and of it will give news in its periodical. Independently
from the outcome of the prize distribution
of the Guidry, the presidency of the A.I.A.M., reservoir to attribute
some of the following prizes:
1)
One page on the review "ACADEMY II Notiziario of the A.I.A.M.".
2)
Registration to Academy I.A.M. honoris cause.
3)
Plate to the merit of the A.I.A.M.
4)Cups
Plates medals of Public
Commissions .
5)
Insertion of a work in the permanent Exhibition in INTERNET A.I.A.M. for
3 months to the first three classifies .
